Pay It Forward

Vision Video - Imagine the Future of Aging

New technology solutions offer great promise to improve quality of care while reducing health care costs. This video will give you a glimpse, through the eyes of one family, of what the future of aging could look like with help from developing technologies that are possible, practical, and affordable. The Home Sensor Network section begins at 3:10.

The foundation of this vision is the concept of the caregiver network. The caregiver network consists of individuals and their family members, extensive care teams in acute and long term care, the community, and the technologies that support them. The caregiver network will strengthen relationships and help individuals age healthily and independently in the place they call home.

investigating my involvement with swapping services

Hello Claude:  I was at the LOACC and saw your presentation Sunday, Nov 6.  I'm looking into the possibility of aiding someone in their tasks, i.e., bookkeeping, balancing checkbooks, etc.  Thanks. Judy

Re: investigating my involvement with swapping services

Hi Judy - thank you for attending the Own Your Future seminar at the LOACC and for your follow-up question. You have valuable skills to offer our community. The best way to participate is to create your own free account using the LOVE:Bank Online Registration Form. As we build toward a critical mass of people interested in local value exchanges, I will keep you informed of our progress via email. As interest grows, we plan to offer basic training through the LOACC and other local organizations.

Thank you for your ongoing interest,
Claude
